Students had the first day of review for our social studies test on Thursday, January 26. We will have a second day of review tomorrow. I have attached a printable pdf. This is also an editable electronic Google Doc version on Google Classroom. -Homework is to complete the review. The questions/subjects are below. -Give three facts (minimum) on the following and answer the question for each: Country 3 Challenges v. Successes Which is most important and why? Men Hamilton v. Jefferson Who was right and why? Parties Federalists v Democratic Republicans Which are you and why?
There will be a Chapter 6 Assessment on Wednesday, January 11. The test questions are below:
Test questions: 6.1-Name the three Branches of Government. What is each responsible for? How do they check the power of the others (give one example from each), and which do you believe to be most important and why? 6.2-What is the Bill of Rights? Which of our first ten amendments is most important and why? Give an example of this amendment being used/abused in the "real world." 6.3-What are three rights and responsibilities of being a U.S. citizen? How do rights and responsibilities balance each other? Which responsibly (duty/obligation) of being a U.S. citizen is most important and why?
